9.1 Monitoring and evaluation costs

Project budgets must include resources for monitoring and evaluation activities. The CO should ensure that all budgets include:

• salary and associated costs (including training) for CO monitoring and evaluation personnel
• funds to cover an AAR and evaluations (Type 2)
• costs towards CARE International Member monitoring visits.
